A vintage French pitcher modelled as a mallard duck, standing on a base of moulded grass with its head raised and beak open. The moulded feathers are glazed green on the head, with a white collar, a pink-red breast, a yellow belly and a brown wing, and the claws are black. The tail feather rises into a handle, and there is a pouring opening and lip at the back, so it works as a jug on the table or as a vase for flowers.
Vintage condition: glossy glaze with light wear and small marks.
